Snow Last Week; Spring Today

Amazing the difference a week can make. We were dealing with snow last week and today’s weather was sunny and warm – typical spring.
Our winter has been unseasonably warm, so the fact that the two snows last week also happened to be our biggest snows of the season is not a surprise. Neither was a particularly big snowfall, but the rest of the winter was just that unusual.
And now our weather has turned decidedly toward spring. Yesterday was warm and sunny with some thunderstorms yesterday evening, fairly typical weather for the approaching April. Trees are budding and I expect to be taking photographs of flowers in just a couple of weeks.

I love it when it snows up until Christmas. After that I want my warm weather back, but I do love to watch it snow and see everything covered in snow. It’s just so beautiful and peaceful. I know the herd loved it. We haven’t had much snow this year either. Thank you for sharing the pictures. They are so beautiful.
