Addison McKellar’s husband, Dean, hasn’t called home in days from his latest international business trip. Concerned and believing his assistant isn’t being truthful, Addison visits her husband’s construction company offices. To her shock, another company leased the space years earlier.

Addison enlists the assistance of Memphis private investigator Porter Hayes who discovers Dean’s business isn’t construction. His assistant isn’t really his assistant. And Dean McKellar died years ago, so Dean isn’t even Dean.

Worse, Porter and Addison aren’t the only people looking for him. The FBI is hot on the trail. So is a mysterious man who threatens Addison’s family if he can’t find Dean.

Then Addison gets the biggest shock. Dean comes home and claims nothing is amiss.
