Biltmore Park - Asheville

April 15, 2023 — 1 to 4 PM

Join me and nine other Asheville area authors at the Barnes & Noble in Biltmore Park (Asheville) for an afternoon of socializing and book signing on April 15, 2023, from 1 to 4 pm. Authors scheduled to attend:

Linn Gamblin—A champion checker player by the age of 9, Linn pursued an engineering career that took him around the globe. During the COVID lockdowns, he focused his energy on writing and storytelling.

Keith Mallory—Keith started a novel while in college in the 1960s and finished it during the COVID lockdowns.

Larry Mance—Larry is a professional lyrical jazz poet writing in 4 moods (Romantic, Philosophical, Ethnic and Spiritual) as well as an author of Christian based short stories with a moral message but not preachy.

Kel O'Connor—Winner of the Pencraft Award and a finalist for The Book Buyers Best Award, The Maggie Award for Excellence and The Carolyn Reader’s Choice Award, Kel lives with her family in the mountains of North Carolina. In addition to reading and writing, she loves coffee, loud rock music, subversive humor and the smell of old books.

Bobbie Pyron—Before becoming an award-winning middle grade author, Bobbie sang in a rock and roll band, harvested gladiolas in fields, and worked for 30+ years as a librarian. Her love of animals shines through in her stories including her most recent book, Stay.

Lee Stockdale—Lee has won the Sidney Lanier Poetry Prize and other prizes, was selected as a Junior Fellow to work on the St. Mark's in-the-Bowery Poetry Project at The Library of Congress Rare Books Division, holds a JD, a Master's Degree in Strategic Studies, and received his MFA from Queens University.

Ginny Stone—When Ginny's not writing, she designs educational games, posters, cartoon strips and does other creative stuff like mosaicing and loves pottering around in the garden. She shares her life with her lovely husband Chris, her 87-year-young mom, her younger daughter, significant other with their 11-month-old baby, Rollo. She also has shares in a son who is well on his way to being a vet. Two cats complete the crazy family.

D. K. Wall—D.K. has lived his entire life in the Carolinas and Tennessee—from the highest elevations of the Great Smoky Mountains near Maggie Valley to the industrial towns of Gastonia and Hickory, the cities of Charlotte and Nashville, and the coastal salt marsh of Murrells Inlet. He takes the characters and tales of his lifetime of experience and remembers them better for your entertainment.

Laurent Weichberger—Laurent co-founded The Light House spiritual center with a mission to recognize and freely share the light of divine presence with one and all. He has authored, and co-authored, many books about Avatar Meher Baba.

Travis Wilson—After experiencing a life full of ups and downs, Travis came to recognize an undeniable desire to honor, glorify, and obey God in ministry. Now, his goal every day is to make a positive impact for God’s glory in this next generation's lives.

After browsing the store and meeting authors, Biltmore Park offers numerous restaurants, most with outdoor seating. Spring is the perfect time of year to enjoy a meal in our perfect weather.
