As I’m sure most of you can understand, it has been a weird month here on the coast of South Carolina. As COVID-19 ravages its victims, our backbone industry of tourism has ground to a halt. Hotels and restaurants are closed and empty. Barricades block access to beaches and parks. Even our normally busy roads are nearly devoid of cars.
Mother Nature, however, continues to trudge along, with or without we mere humans. Fortunately, the scenery around my house is astounding, so I can stay close to home, avoid human interactions, and still be blessed with some stunning sights.
Hopefully, this collection of photographs from the past month can brighten your days.
