With most businesses closed and tourists staying home, April 2020 was a perfect month for quiet exploration of our salt marsh. From spectacular sunrises to the amazing wildlife of the area, we have plenty of natural beauty just outside our window.
These photos are taken either from my house on the salt marsh, inside Huntington Beach State Park, or in the town of Murrells Inlet South Carolina.

Such incredible colors and the beauty at each step across such a distance! I must tell you that I’ve never been a huge fan of the ocean and was soooo disappointed when you left North Carolina. I grew up at Lake Tahoe and now live in Oregon, where we have our mountains and the ocean. You may just make me an ocean lover!
