Our summer weather has been a perfect mix of rainy and sunny days, prompting many late season blooms. Those blooms have attracted many butterflies flitting around our yard.
My favorite photograph of the bunch is the first one – a bee waiting for a butterfly to move along so that the bee can do its work. I have added that photograph to the catalog of photos available for sale.
Have a terrific weekend!

The pictures are wonderful.
The bee and the butterfly – that’s a piece of photography that has a comic element to it. Thumbs up!
Thank you! I had visions of a drive-thru restaurant where you are waiting on the guy in front of you to move along. The bee is muttering, “Come on, buddy, hurry it up!”
Just lovely. Certainly easy to see why the first is your favorite. What are the odds of getting that!
The colors in the close-ups of the butterfly are gorgeous but the first one is definitely my favorite also.
